Well even I don't know the answer to that question.
Let me tell you the long story.
Several years ago, my hope was that I would work in the Title industry until I was 60 years old. At that point, I would sell my company and take up something else. (At the time, working on a local golf course seemed appealing to me.)
And with our plan in place, that is still very much my intention, with a little bit of an exception. I still plan on using age 60 as my guide. However, with Clinton Shattuck on board, my work load will be eased substantially over the next few years and who knows, maybe at that time, I will still want to hang around a little bit and continue to pitch in.
I still would like to work outdoors seasonally and I would like to spend more time writing, but my passion for the Title business still flows and as always, I want to leave on my own terms.
Having seen a few close friends die recently, I know that life is short and tomorrow is never a guarantee. But with all of that in mind, I think that you'll be able to find me at Riverside Title, LLC for the next five years or so.
After that, you may have to look around a little bit.
